Welcome to our 2010 winter hind sale.
This years catalogue is a small but very special line up. As the stud has grown so rapidly over the last two years with large numbers of ET progeny retained, and the herd age much younger than ever, we have decided to offer a small line up of young and very promising hinds.
For sale are daughters of Big Mac - who now deceased, produced a huge antler with a massive CIC score of 293 and main beam circumference of 36cm. This would position him among the very elite stags in the industry.
Also on offer are hinds by Major Peel - his potency is immense - the most recent world record 621 SCI testament of this wonderful sire. We have been very guarded of his genetics in the past so this is a rare opportunity to purchase his bloodline crossed with other world class genetics.
Included are two hinds in calf to new young sire Tiber - sadly we don’t have a paddock photo with enough definition to show - but rest assured he is a star in the making with 32 points as a 2 year old, very long brow, bay, trez and a big proud stag to boot.
Rob Roy is represented by an exceptional daughter in Lot 1, also hinds in calf to him. His antler continues to impress with great
length in all tynes, a wonderful style which we are striving to breed here at Peel Forest. But more importantly is his potency to pass on these traits which was so evident at our 2010 Sire Sale. |
